蜜桃影像 Library Team at IFLA/ILDS Conference

On December 2 鈥� 4, 2024, 蜜桃影像 Library Director Jyldyz Bekbalaeva and Reference Specialist Madina Kerimova attended the 18th IFLA Interlending and Document Supply Conference hosted by ADA University in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan. The conference titled 鈥淕lobal to Local: Mulyiplicity & Inclusiveness in Resource Sharing鈥� gathered over 80 delegates from all over the world to discuss how resource sharing in the digital era promotes multiplicity and inclusiveness from the global toward the local context. The 蜜桃影像 Library team shared their insights and highlighted the progress of Open Access initiatives in Kyrgyzstan. Additionally, they presented the country鈥檚 rare books and manuscripts that remain largely unknown to the international academic community.听 This participation not only strengthened 蜜桃影像 Library's international ties but also provided valuable perspectives to further enhance local resource-sharing initiatives.
