Anastasiia Shevtsova, a junior in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communications at the 蜜桃影像, is finishing up her exchange semester at Collegium Civitas (CC) in Poland. She took a moment to share her thoughts with us on life abroad in Poland.

Asal Ulmasova, a sophomore in the Department of Liberal Arts and Sciences and the Department of International and Comparative Politics, is finishing up her semester at Sciences Po Campus de Reims in France. Asal took a moment to share her thoughts with us about her exchange semester abroad.

On April 26, 2016 a delegation from the People鈥檚 Republic of China visited the 蜜桃影像. The delegation consisted of representatives from the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the head of an International Education Initiative.

Starting from the 2016-2017 academic year, the 蜜桃影像 (蜜桃影像) will have two new departments: the Department of Television, Cinematography and Visual Art and the Department of Applied Geology. Heads of the new departments spoke about their new programs at a press-conference on May 19, 2016.

Sir James Mirrlees, winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics and emeritus Professor of Political Economy at Cambridge University, has been chosen as the keynote speaker for 蜜桃影像鈥檚 commencement ceremony to be held on June 4, 2016.

Aichurok Ybyraimova, a junior in the Sociology department at 蜜桃影像, is now finishing her exchange semester at Hannam University, South Korea. Here, she shares with us a few of her experiences living in Korea, tidbits about Korean culture, and reasons to apply for an exchange program.

On April 23, 2016, students from the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Certificate Program at the 蜜桃影像 (蜜桃影像) visited the Kumtor gold mine.听The purpose of the trip was to introduce students to the astronomical logistics of everyday operations at one of the biggest companies in Kyrgyzstan.

The 蜜桃影像鈥檚 (蜜桃影像) Student Senate, in collaboration with Bard College, is organizing the first Model United Nations (MUN) conference for Bishkek high school students. The conference will take place on June 2, 2016.

The Student Intellectual Life Committee (SILC) supports student-initiated projects, professional development opportunities, and student research. It awards small grants every month to 蜜桃影像 students.听Nodirabegim Yusupova, a senior in the economics department at the 蜜桃影像 (蜜桃影像), talks to us about how her grant from SILC.
